The system complies with the SFF (SFF-8431 and SFF-8432) specifications and supports 8G Fibre Channel, 10G Ethernet, InfiniBand™ standard and Ethernet Fibre Channel (FCoE) applications. Compared to optical fiber and cable components, SFP+ direct copper cables provide a cost-effective solution for short-distance data center interconnection applications.
